You may read my title "Living life and working around the garage..." and ask how is this my favorite project?? Unexpectedly, this year has had some major health challenges. Some of the challenges have REALLY slowed me down, so my project this year was to get stuff accomplished around my garage as health and time allowed. As I accomplished stuff, I didn't realize how other tasks became apparant and intertwined with a parent task. One thing leads to another and now we are about to celebrate a new year!

So here's a brief list of some of this year's highlights:

A Temporary storage shelter was constructed (1.360 square feet)
A 22x48 Garage space was emptied
Light fixtures were removed
A ceiling was hung
Light fixtures were installed
Drywall was finished
Refinished a roof on a 1954 Buick
Built a 1913 Model T Ford
Some tree house work was done
A couple of family trips happened
A more permenant storage shed was built
Multiple Engines were cleaned and painted
Wall Mount shelving units were constructed with scrap steel
A garage bay was painted
and the floor is just about ready to be epoxied

Although I wanted to have the floor epoxied before the new year, I guess the timing was not meant to be.

As I look back over the year, many may say that I did pretty well.

This year, my wish is for everyone to have the health, the time, and the means to accomplish their goals, big and small. I hope the new year will allow me to be more productive (and I will post how that goes!).
