Today we're spending some time with Rusto Garage member @Jrandbs2, a recent winner in the Peel it off Challenge

What brought you to Rusto garage?

I came to Rusto garage when I received an email about it.

What’s your favorite part of this online community?

My favorite part of this online community is seeing others' projects, advice, and ideas for my own projects.

How would you describe yourself/occupation to a complete stranger?

I'm a car enthusiast who works at a Toyota dealership.

What interests you most about the automotive world?

The customizable features, the ability to shape something to your ideas.

What automotive projects do you like to focus on?

I like to focus on upgrading and maintaining a quality ride.

What is your favorite Rust-Oleum product? How has it helped with your automotive projects?

So far, my favorite products are interior paint and high temp grill paint. They helped with the interior and the headers on my S-10.

What is your favorite automotive project you’ve done and how did you accomplish it?

Upgrading the suspension components on my S-10. I put all new urethane bushings, and upgraded aftermarket sway bars and bodymounts.

What’s the most challenging project you have tackled(or putting off!)?

I’m putting off upgrading to a leather wrapped dash and installing bucket seats in my S-10.

If you could create any type of automotive product/project, what would you design and why?

Honestly, a salt neutralization for chassis rust prevention and stopping, and to give a permanent finish.

What’s your dream ride?

Chevrolet ‘57 bel air convertible, red and white. With a white top, and red and white interior. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know about you.

I started working in the automotive industry when I was 14 years old, and I volunteer with a dog rescue.

What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?

The best advice I’ve gotten is; work for what you want in life, nothing is handed out.

Kicking back for a relaxing night: What’s your favorite meal? What will you be watching?

Pizza while watching motor trend tv with my dogs and family.

Nice to get a window into your world, @Jrandbs2 - thanks for these photos of you and your son!
