Today we're spending time with @JJFerrero, an automobile-lover (who has the coolest treehouse we've ever seen 😎)

What brought you to Rusto Garage?
I happened to stumble across it on Facebook and thought I would check it out.

What’s your favourite part of this online community?
I enjoy the activities and interactions that the Rusto Garage has and trying out products with exceptional results.

How would you describe yourself/occupation to a complete stranger?
I'm an artistic guy with a diverse educational background, a hobby of cars, and a passion for my family.

What interests you most about the automotive world?
If it has tires, I enjoy it!  I like that each brand is unique, and I like the features that each have to offer.

What automotive projects do you like to focus on?
I focus on the projects that I have the parts and supplies for.  Anything is possible with time, health and money (for parts and supplies).  If any of those three items is lacking, progress slows down.

What is your favourite Rust-Oleum product? How has it helped with your automotive projects?
Until recently, I didn't realize Rust-Oleum had much beyond paint...  Rusto Garage has opened my eyes to many things that Rust-Oleum has to offer.  I do enjoy the paints and bedliner, but now that I am being exposed to more products, the list keeps on growing!

What is your favorite automotive project you’ve done and how did you accomplish it?
Well, I had an opportunity to rebuild a car (1959 Berkeley) that now gets up to 72 mpg on regular pump gas, and I did it one piece at a time!

What’s the most challenging project you have tackled (or are putting off!)?
I have 3 - 1915 Oldsmobiles Model 42, and I am only aware of 10 in existence.  Acquiring parts for these vehicles are not very easy so it will take time to locate or fabricate the parts that I require to finish the restorations.

If you could create any type of automotive product/project (with no limitations), what would you design and why?
I would like to see a variable glass tint for automobiles.  Prescription eye glasses have an option to get dark in the sun and light when it is dark or indoors, and if this could be applied to car windows, it could be beneficial to every car on the road!

What is your dream ride?
I would enjoy a 1935 Auburn Boat-tail speedster, or maybe a 1935 SJ Duesenberg...  I enjoy art-deco.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know about you.
I like to play, and I like to relax, but what I enjoy most is sharing what I have with others...  Why have it if it can not be enjoyed?

What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?
If something is broke, try to fix it.  What's the worst that can happen??  You may actually succeed!

Kicking back for a relaxing night: what’s your favorite meal? What will you be watching?
I enjoy a nice prime rib dinner, and I would enjoy being with and watching my family.  The kids are growing way too fast and I would really enjoy just spending time with the family.

Thanks for letting us get to know you, @JJFerrero, and for sharing these great photos of your projects and vehicles!
