Challenge Winners Announcement! πŸ† πŸ† πŸ†

Submitted to Blog

The first ever Rusto Garage Challenge is done and dusted. With excellent submissions and great voter turnout, the Biggest Transformation Challenge worked just the way it’s supposed to: members do cool projects, the community steps in and votes, and we get to award the prizes!

πŸ† πŸ† Third Place – tie!

Our third places winners are an even tie:

May West

“I was gifted this from the original owner and a good friend of mine. I’ve known him for 30 years and got to drive this car before I even had a license!”

- @Jacelippert

Engine Detail

"When I got my car which I found out of state during lockdown, the first thing I wanted to do was clean and detail the engine for up coming car cruises….there is a massive change with little effort!"

@Chrisrebennett

πŸ† Second Place

1972 c10 Rust-Oleum resto!

“As of now, I’ve re-wired the entire truck, scrubbed, sanded, and painted a large portion of the truck (with Rust-Oleum paint!), new headlights, custom inner fenders, custom hood hinges, new digital gauge cluster, 3/5 lowering kit including new spindles and springs, 4 wheel disc brakes and new booster/master cylinder…. still a little work to be done, but it’s far from the truck I bought!

@Cbass41

πŸ† First Place

A detour through the trees…the 1945 Triumph 1800 Saloon treehouse village

“This 1946 Triumph 1800 Saloon I got from Utica NY, and was going to be a restoration project. It turns out that this car is pretty rare, and I couldn't get the parts to restore it….I got started and raised the car up into the trees as our signature tree house. Now, the Triumph gets more visitors to see it while it is in a tree than it ever would have as a drivable car.

And the winner of the random voter draw is @Jrandbs2.

Congratulations to our winners, and thanks to all of the community members who stopped by to vote and comment. Keep an eye out in the community for new activites, product testing opportunities, and our next challenge.
