SEMA 2022 - Its Back In Full Swing

Submitted to Blog

This year's SEMA Show was incredible, not only were attendance levels back to normal, but it now spans over 1 Million square feet. With over 1800 exhibitors, and 2000 vehicles, it’s nearly impossible to see everything and sore feet are inevitable.  Thankfully, the Tesla Tunnel was running again this year, and was a fun and convenient way of getting around. The times I rode, the line moved very quickly and it saved me miles of additional walking.

Inside the Tesla Tunnel:

The show is always expanding, what was an empty lot a few years ago is now the massive West hall,  and plans to involve the whole city in 2023 with the edition of SEMA Week & SEMAFEST will only make it better.  Read more about SEMA 2023 plans here

The Rust-Oleum Booth - We had lots of traffic at the booth this year and met people from all over the world that share a love for great car care products. The booth showcased all of the new Wipe New appearance chemical products, Gator finishing products, and of course RustoGarage.  We had headlight restore demonstrations, the Gator mock-up car for testing out product on a variety of surfaces, sign up and swag giveaway for RustoGarage, and a gorgeous lime green Lamborghini Urus.  I even had the opportunity to do a little plug for our Rusto-Garage Community and Wipe New for a media group shooting footage for MotorTrend TV.

We were located in the West Hall, which consisted mainly of appearance chemicals, and wrapping. While vehicle wrapping has been a part of the show for years, it dominated this year. At the booth across from us WipeGlove held a wrap competition over the course of the show that was both entertaining and educational.

Member Requests - These were fun to look out for, thank you to everyone who sent in requests!  I think we were able to find almost everything this year, with the exception of the Farmtruck & AZN guys. Unfortunately they had a filming conflict that prevented them from attending the show this year.
