In early May we invited members to sign up and participate in the Wipe New Trim Restore Challenge. Wipe New renews, restores, and protects worn automotive trim and plastic - and we gave 50 lucky Rusto Garage members the opportunity to put this product to the test.
After the 15 submissions were in, we turned voting over to community members. Today we're pleased to announce the winners!
🥉 Third place, @Coop51: Revitalized
I really like this product. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram and as you know the trim just loses its luster only a couple of years from being a brand new vehicle. I like the 2 step process it uses with the pre-wipe then the wipe-it. As you can see in the photos there is a definite difference. I used on my bumper trim and my tonneau cover that just looks really faded. It looks revitalized. I definitely recommend.
🥈 Second place, @Gaytondad: Restore instead of replace
I absolutely love this product. I never thought I would find a trim restorer that could bring any of my trim back especially my rear bumper - it was so faded! These wipes are so easy to use after washing and drying my truck I started with the prep wipes just to make sure everything was clean of any contaminants and after it dried I just went over all of my exterior trim with the Wipe New. It turned out great plus as bad as the trim looked before it still only took about 15 minutes to transform it to like-new, the best part about using these wipes is now I don't have to buy all new trim so it saved me so alot of money. I will definitely be getting some more so I can do my wife's car.

I bought new fender flares for my Jeep and I am going to sell the old ones. (So I can buy more Jeep parts). I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try the Wipe New product. The pictures show the process. I think it did an awesome job. They were extremely faded and Wipe New brought them back to a darker finish. After 24 hours I sprayed them with water and you can see how the water beaded up. Overall I think this is a great product. It was quick and easy to apply and gives great results.
