- 1 - 22oz ( 650mL) Bottle of Wipe New Graphene Infused Ceramic Coating
Important application information:
- Apply in a well ventilated area. Do not inhale the vapors, dust or mist, ensure you have proper ventilation and fresh air during both the application and drying process.
- You will need TWO clean Microfiber cloths. They are not included with the spray, but are needed for the application process.
- One microfiber cloth to apply the product
- A second microfiber cloth to wipe it off.
- Only apply to cool, clean, and completely dry surfaces. Applying to a hot surface or in direct sunlight may cause the finish to appear cloudy or streaky. Applying to a dirty or wet surface will not allow the product to properly bond, and will result in an uneven appearance.
- Apply between 60-90 degrees fahrenheit.
- Apply to a microfiber cloth then rub onto the surface. For a smooth even finish, apply to a microfiber cloth then wipe onto the surface. Spraying directly onto the surface is not recommended, and can result in uneven application.
- Do not apply to glass. It leaves a film that can be difficult to remove. If you do accidentally get some on glass, wipe it off immediately with a clean cloth.
- Do not leave the product on the surface for more than 10 minutes. For a smooth even appearance, you want to wipe off the product before it dries to the touch, which occurs in approximately 10 minutes.
- Allow 24hrs to fully cure before applying additional coats. You will need to wait for the first layer to fully cure before adding additional coats.
How to apply Wipe New Graphene Infused Ceramic Coating
1. Thoroughly wash and dry the vehicle.
- A good finish starts with good prep work, clean and dry it well prior to application for best results.
- Moisture on the surface can result in white, cloudy streaking and improper bonding.
2. Ensure that the surfaces are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight
- The ceramic coating tends to get cloudy and streaky if applied to hot surfaces or in sunlight.
- I have found that if possible, it’s best to keep the surface cool and out of the sun not only during application but during the entire 24hr cure process as well.
3. Shake very well before applying
- You will get a much deeper, reflective finish if you shake the bottle vigorously.
4. Spray product onto a microfiber towel
- Do not apply directly to the surface, over spray can land on the surface and dry before being wiped away resulting in an uneven finish. Additionally, it is much easier to visually see where you have applied product if you spray it onto a cloth then wipe on.
5. Apply to one panel at a time, using a crisscross pattern
- Apply the product in horizontal passes across the whole panel/surface, then apply the product in vertical passes over the entire panel/surface. This criss-cross pattern will ensure complete and even coverage.
6. Use a clean microfiber cloth to remove the product from the surface
- For a more intense shine, leave the product on the surface for 1-2 minutes before removing.
- Allow 24hrs to fully cure before applying additional coats.
Pro Tips:
- Apply according to the directions, spray onto a microfiber cloth then apply to the surface. While it might seem quicker to spray directly on the surface, you risk an uneven finished appearance.
- This product contains silicon - take precautions in areas you apply paint in. Silicone particles get in the air, land on pieces and cause fish eyes and other imperfections and adhesion issues.
- It can be applied on top of other waxes and coatings. According to provide product information, applying the Graphene infused ceramic coating will "further intensify shine and protection of your existing waxes and coatings." Not having to worry about compatabilities is great, especially if you're not familiar with what has been used in the past.
- Add more layers for deeper depth and shine. Just be sure to wait 24 hours in between so it has time to fully cure between coats.
