What I like

• Application was super easy and product laid down smoothly.

• The prep pad worked great and you could get a lot of surface area out of one pad.

• Product works very well on textured plastics.

• Worked very well even on slightly dirty plastic parts.

• Worked okay on powder coated parts (roof rack).

What I disliked

• Product does not work well on smooth plastic, brought back shine but did not lay flat and is still streaky after 24 hours.

• Product cannot touch the paint! There was no instructions to tape off the area around parts and you absolutely have to if you get it on the paint have acetone handy and if you leave it, a electric buffer will be your best friend.

• Does not work the best on faded rubber such as wiper arm caps.

• Did not work at all on roof rack mounting bars.

• Prep pads also were over saturated and caused the prep to run all over the paint.

Overall this is a great product for restoring trim and other such things on vehicles, although I would be cautious. I believe I will be able to get the product off of the paint on my vehicle however, I am not super concerned given this is a test vehicle meant for these sorts of products. My only gripe is that it does not lay down flat on smooth plastic, it however, works great on textures like the mirror and door handles as pictured. Would I use it again, absolutely! Though, as I stated above, I would make sure to tape the areas around where one is working and make sure that nothing touches the paint/glass because even acetone would not get it all off. This product would work exceptionally well on plastic grills and anything with a texture, don’t forget it works well on powder coated metal as well. This vehicle is almost 25 years old and the roof rack is severely faded and it really did bring a shine back to it and I was very surprised. Another thing is that the surface doesn’t have to be super clean. The bumper pads were not clean nor did I use the prep pad on them and it still came out very well. Although it is not perfect neither was the pad to begin with.
