National Worship of Tools Day - “If you take care of your equipment, it’ll take care of you!”

Tools… the only things that help us get things accomplished.

I had a mentor a long time ago tell me “if you take care of your equipment it’ll take care of you!”

Some people make sure their tools are in tip top shape every single day and before each use, but for those that keep them in buckets or just thrown in their tool box you'll need to at least make sure those tools are in sound shape. If you do not keep the tools in the shape they are intended to be used then you will most likely end up messing up the part you are trying to fix or better yet you will mess yourself up while trying to use an unsatisfactory tool.

Keep those tools in tip-top shape and spend less time making it work and more time getting stuff done.

Spend March 11th of this year:
Cleaning your tools, Making sure those chisels and planes and even lawn mowers have those proper edges.
Make sure all your fluids are topped off on anything that needs gas, oils, lubricants, etc.
Gaskets are a big weak point in any tool that has them, make sure they are good to go and new if possible.
Springs, magnets, grips and mirrors are things that are always overlooked or passed by because they are always so small to spend the time to fix or replace.

Do it on March 11th, National Worship of Tools Day!

Do you have a ritual on March 11th or any other day that involves keeping your tools to spec and functioning?

Also, which tools are your must haves in your tool box!?

Tell us here we’d like to know!
