Tool Storage Solutions: Organize and Utilize

Time is always a factor when it comes to any job or project. So why not try to save as much of it as possible. A clean, structured and well organized shop area can help save you that time!
Keeping as many tools and bins off the floor and put away as possible will not only make your space bigger but it will also help you stay organized by putting the tools back where they belong. Organize and Utilize your space. (see pics)
Organize: As much or as little that best suits you
- Apply labels on everything you cannot see inside. Jars, bins, boxes, cups etc.
- Have separate storage systems for separate sections of your tools or garage.
- Color coordinate each section of storage bins, jars or boxes for each section of tools or materials.
Utilize: Every square inch of walls and ceiling
- Pegboard, slat wall or grid squares are great solutions to utilize all your wall space.
- Over head mounting bins help with items that are not used as much, like holiday decorations
- Mount old jars with lids underneath shelves to create a clever space for small bolts and screws.
