First Time w/Paint Sprayer

I know it's just a Honda nothing special.. I use to hate Hondas until I discovered the Honda Prelude. I know my paint job sucks 😮‍💨😔 I had never used anything besides Spray Paint before until I bought a gun and compressor and painted this car.. I used cheap ready to spray lacquer.. Black Base Coat w/Violet Pearl mixed into a Metallic Clear.. I want to repaint the car same colors but using better quality paint.. Can anyone give me any ideas on a type/brand of paint or technique tips..please and thank you
