To celebrate this year's monumental cicada emergence, the Rust-Oleum team sponsored and participated in Cicada-Parade-a.
We asked Rusto Garage members to choose their favorite critter from Team Rust-Oleum's cicada submissions. Here's what you told us!
"I like the colors and the details of the wings. My wife and I took a road trip to Florida from Kentucky back in mid May. As we were driving home, close to entering Nashville, our windshield became bombarded by cicadas, to the point we had to get off the interstate to clean it. As we opened our doors to get out of the car at a convenience store, the cicadas were buzzing around like flies. Scared my wife to death. One even managed to get in our car, which I had to remove pronto in order to settle my wife down. Pretty comical, to me, but not her." -- @Luggnutt
Back at Rust-Oleum headquarters, associates had the opportunity to vote on their favorite cicada and the winner was: Vernon!
