Living near Detroit, I'm able to cross the border into Canada. This is great because the annual RetroFest in historic Chatham never disappoints. It attracts about 600 cars, which are placed throughout the streets of downtown Chatham. Since the roads are closed for the show, roaming the display is easy. The recent show took place the last weekend of May. I wrote about it in my blog last week and posted pics of my favorite cars and trucks, RetroFest Classic Car Show. - @VehicleNanny
I've never got to attend because the last few years have been postponed because of COVID, but I hope to enter my 66 Galaxie in the CCKMA Car Show (cancer can kiss my a$$) Sunday August 21 in Rock Island Illinois. My father was a car guy his whole life and he passed away in 2017 of cancer. - @Rob cI have participated in car shows and cruisin's since 2006 with my 1993 C4 Corvette with 138,000 on the clock. I have a few favorite shows and some shows fall by the wayside for some reason or another as well as some of my car show pals. One of my favorites is on Father's Day weekend on June 18 www.bellefontecruise.org. This show is in North Central PA just a few miles from Penn State Campus. The whole town of Bellefonte is shut down and the streets are lined with show cars so there is something to do for the whole family. I have participated in this show 6 years with 5 first place awards and 1-third place in Corvette 1984-1996 class. I plan on atternding. - @lindenbob
My most favorite car show is in my local town of Monroe, GA. It takes place in March. I love this show because it gets bigger every year and there is always a lot of cars of all makes and models. - @Coop51
First Friday in Gadsden, Alabama. Car, truck and motorcycles. From classics to new ones. Some real nice stuff. - @Austin1
I think my favorite is Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada. - @Magsy87
We have Madness in the Mountains car show here in southern West Virginia. The show started small and has become a major event in our area . The show happens in early May. - @opie04
I try to go to as many car shows in the area as I can...I would say my favorite is the Car D’Alene up here in Coeur'D Alene Idaho. It is a 3 day cruise, show and downtown celebration. Also the GoodGuys show at the Spokane County Fair and Expo in Spokane, Washington. We also have a weekly gathering locally every Tuesday evening 😀 - @lrajkovich
Hot Rod Nationals, Louisville, KY. First week in August. - @Luggnutt
I love the local car shows with all different models but my favorite is the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge, TN. Coming up in August. So many Jeeps! OlllllllO ❤ - @Wrangler98
My favorite car show takes place in my hometown of Greenville, OH. Takes place in Sept and it's called the Rolling 50's & 60's Car show. They block off downtown and load it full of classic cars. What I like best about it is it takes place ALL day and most of the night. They also have activities for the young ones to participate in. It's a great time. - @Mattkarnehm
Syracuse Nationals is the largest car show in the Northeast! With tons of entertainment and plenty of beautiful cars to see, this is a show you don’t want to miss. At New York State Fairgrounds Syracuse NY. - @JJFerrero
My favorite car show is Antique and Classic Weekend in Alum Bank, Pennsylvania, at the Alum Bank Fire Company's picnic grounds, on the weekend of July 7th through the 10th! There are many activities, there is the car, truck, bike show, burnout competition! There is also a tractor show, and tractor and truck pulls, plus kids peddle tractor pulls. There are many vendors, and food stands galore! It is an awesome weekend! It is held every year! www.alumbankvfc.org for more infromation! - @Tophat
